Jumeirah Beach Resort: Burj Al Arab
The world’s tallest hotel raises 321 meters above the Persian Sea. Shaped as a dhow-sail, the hotel is placed 280 meters from land on an artificial island. Burj-Al-Arab is 17 meters taller than the Eiffel tower and only 60 meters lower than New York’s Empire State Building.
There’s two ways of getting there, by car (perhaps Rolls Royce) over the magnificent pier or by helicopter to the platform on the 28th floor. The reason why the hotel only has 28 floors is the design, where each floor is made by two floors (double-height storeys).
Burj-Al-Arab has a magnificent lobby with a roof height of 180 meters. The hotel’s inner is covered with 2000 square meters of 22 carats of gold. Its exterior is made by construated Teflon and glass fiber, a façade during night time is lit up with different colors.
A total of 202 suites
142 One Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 18 Panoramic Suites (bedroom), 4 Club Suites (bedroom), 28 Two Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 6 Three Bedroom Deluxe Suites, 2 Presidential Suites and Royal Suites
